APRM2015 welcomes the submission of abstracts for poster presentations from all participants.

Contents and Requirements for papers to be submitted

Guidelines for abstract submission

  • Abstract must be written in English using Arial font size 11.
  • A structured abstract of not more than 300 words must be comprised of:
    • Introduction: A brief introduction or background of the research
    • Objectives: State the main objective(s) of the research
    • Methods: Describe the setting, study design, study population, data collection, laboratory                  technique and statistical analysis used
    • Results: Clear, concise and precise findings/outcomes of the study
    • Conclusion: Briefly discuss the outcome and the implication of the study
  • The research described in the abstract will be the work that is to be presented as a poster with the same title and contents during the congress.
  • Submitting author must be a registered participant and present the poster as presenter author during the congress.
  • An abstract must be submitted with the intention that, if accepted, it will be presented as a poster during the congress.
  • An individual can submit not more than 2 abstracts.
  • There is no limit to the number of times an individual may appear as co-author on abstracts.
  • Each abstract should contain a list of all the authors, identify the affiliations of the authors and the name of the presenter author should be underlined.
  • Abstract can be submitted online via aprm2015@usm.my
  • The submitting author will be notified of the acceptance or the rejection of the abstract via email 2 weeks after the closing date of abstract submission.
  • The submitting author’s email address provided in the abstract must be correct.

 

Poster presentation

  • The maximum poster dimension should be 60 cm width and 80 cm height.
  • Title, author(s) and affiliated institution(s) should be placed at the top of the poster.
  • The contents must follow the subheadings according to the abstract e.g. research outcome-introduction, objective(s), methods, results and conclusion.
  • The minimum font size allowable is 28.
  • Poster should be legible (readable) for a distance of at least one (1) meter.
  • The presenter author will be notified by email of assigned board
